  • When the Registry Editor window opens up, you will have to enter the following command inside the address bar and then hit the enter key. “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoft.”

  • Next, you will have to look for a key named “Tablet PC” in the drop-down list from the Microsoft folder.

  • If there is no such key, you need to create one by right-clicking on the “Microsoft” option and then selecting “New” > “Key.

  • You will now name the key as “Tablet PC” and press the enter key.

  • Next, go to the left pane menu and select the newly created Tablet PC key. Now, come to the right side of the screen and right-click on the blank space.

  • Proceed further by selecting the New” > “DWORD (32-bit) value. You will now rename the newly created value as DisableSnippingTool and hit the “Save” button to save all the changes.

  • At last, you will click twice on the DisableSnippingTool value, and when a dialogue box appears, set the value data to 1 and click “Ok.” That’s it.
